Roberto Tribuno at the Polytechnic University of Milan: Senior Housing and ESG 2025
On March 21, 2025, Roberto Tribuno was invited to give a lecture at the Polytechnic University of Milan, as part of the “Social Housing Estate and Management” course, part of the master’s degree program in “Management of Built Environment”. The meeting involved students from around the world, as part of innovative models for managing and designing living spaces for seniors and housing welfare.
During the lecture, Roberto Tribuno offered an in-depth analysis of the senior housing market, with particular attention to the demographic, geographical, and economic evolution that is transforming over-65 housing in Italy and Europe. His talk explored the main real estate asset classes, highlighting regulatory, financial and design aspects.
Tribuno outlined the challenges and opportunities associated with designing living spaces for seniors, both in greenfields and redevelopment settings, emphasizing the importance of considering the diverse perspectives of stakeholders involved in social housing projects. Ample space was devoted to environmental, energy and economic sustainability issues, with a focus on innovative materials, construction techniques and ESG certifications.
The lesson concluded with the presentation of plans, images, and videos of the latest facilities built by Health Invest, offering students a concrete and stimulating learning experience.
